I discovered that practices like running, walking, preparing nourishing foods, and mindfulness became anchors through the constant change. Intentional routines build resilience over time, helping us stay aligned with what matters most. We all have powerful inner resources to create the life we dream of—it often just takes one person to listen and encourage us to take that first step. Everyday Wellness began when one person took the time to listen and to empower me to take action and begin.
I hold a Master of Education from Tarleton State University (2002) and a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (2023). Over the years, I’ve continued to deepen my expertise through a range of professional certifications, including Integrative Health and Wellness Coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition, 2021), Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT, 2023), Registered Yoga Teacher (2015), iRest® Level 1 Meditation Teacher (2018), and foundational training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (2025). I also completed a Plant-Based Professional Certification in 2023. I am currently working toward earning board certification as a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
