Growing up and living in the military community, with its many transitions, has enriched my perspective and fueled my passion for wellness and resilience. While navigating many transitions, working, and raising a family, military life showed me the importance of nurturing the whole person- mind, body, and soul. With more than a decade of experience as a professional educator and as a mindfulness teacher across the country, I founded Everyday Wellness. I love teaching, coaching, and empowering others to use their strengths to navigate their unique path. 
 
I am on a mission to help people and corporations build a community of wellness through science-backed, sustainable practices that support living well. I have found that practical, consistent steps become meaningful over time. Most importantly, they support you no matter where life takes you. It's not about perfection, just presence.

Hi, I'm Jaime.

I hold a Master of Education from Tarleton State University (2002) and a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (2023). Over the years, I’ve continued to deepen my expertise through a range of professional certifications, including Integrative Health and Wellness Coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition, 2021), Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT, 2023), Registered Yoga Teacher (2015), iRest® Level 1 Meditation Teacher (2018), and foundational training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (2025). I also completed a Plant-Based Professional Certification in 2023. I am currently working toward earning board certification as a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach.

I was honored to receive the Student Excellence Award in Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health.

I discovered that practices like running, walking, preparing nourishing foods, and mindfulness became anchors through the constant change. Intentional routines build resilience over time, helping us stay aligned with what matters most. We all have powerful inner resources to create the life we dream of—it often just takes one person to listen and encourage us to take that first step. Everyday Wellness began when one person took the time to listen and to empower me to take action and begin.

Everyday Wellness grew from my own lived experiences, which evolved into a deep passion for supporting others.

A whole-person approach considers the body, energy, mind, personal insight, and joy. Over the years, my own wellness practices have evolved with the seasons of my life, adapting to what I needed most at each stage.
